Voivodeship Labour Office in Katowice (VLO) - Project Coordinator, Poland

Formed in 2000, the Voivodeship Labour Office in Katowice is an organizational unit of the Silesian Voivodeship Self-Government that pursues tasks involving the creation of labor market policies, initiation and support of actions promoting and stimulating the development of the labor market in the Silesian Voivodeship.

Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa (JDU), Poland

JDU is a public educational institution with over a 50-year-long tradition. Its history traces back to 1971. The actions undertaken by the present Authorities of the Institution resulted in the establishment of 2018 the Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa. Nowadays, JDU is one of the largest public universities in the region, with highly qualified scientific and educational staff.

JDU comprises six faculties: Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Law and Economics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Faculty of Arts. There are nearly 500 academic teachers employed, including 165 independent research and teaching staff and 50 titular professors. JDU features about 50 majo studies – bachelor's and master's degree courses (including engineering), about 40 postgraduate studies, and numerous courses and trainings. Education at the Doctoral School is delivered in the following disciplines: chemistry, physics, history, linguistics, literary studies, fine arts and art conservation, and musical arts.

JDU is a place open for education. It includes the actions of the University of the Third Age, the Centre for Courses and Training, the Center for Postgraduate Studies, the Teacher Training Center, the Center for Masters of Didactics, Open University Lectures, the University Library, and an Examination Centre. JDU's "Mission" features different forms of practical adult education, creating increasingly rich teaching and learning offers, including the Lifelong and Life-wide Learning approach.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CPU), Slovenia

The Institute for business education (CPU) has a special place among educational institutions in Slovenia. Through its direct connection with the industry, it connects educational processes with the dynamic development of the economic sectors. CPU has the longest tradition among educational institutions in adult business training.

Institute for Innovative Applied Counseling Sciences (INfaBW), Germany

The task and mission of INfaBW - "Institut für angewandte Beratungswissenschaften" (Institute for Innovative Applied Counselling Sciences) - is as well science-based as application and target group-related qualification, counseling, research, and development; in the business segments of profession, competence development, and management.

INfaBW is internationally orientated, based on combining these tasks in a synergetic way. Based on clients' requirements, INfaBW designs successful solutions together.

The Institute was founded in July 2021 and is managed by four partners with extensive experience in international project work - especially in career guidance counseling, career development for young people and adults, placement counseling, and public management.

Spangar Negotiations - Counseling, Research, Evaluation (SN), Finland

It was founded by Dr. Timo Spangar in 2003. It is a company established to promote the development of career counseling at national and European levels and to follow the global career counseling community. The company’s scope in this area has been developing career guidance methods for individual and group counseling settings and developing career guidance systems and management at regional, national, and EU levels. 

The company’s activities in this field are based on Spangar’s and his colleague Anita Keskinen’s research, especially on their active co-production of concepts and methods in collaboration with Vance Peavy between 1991 – 2002.  

The other fields where the company has been active include studies and evaluations on labor market policies and services in Finland, Scandinavia, and the major EU countries. For example, the company has been involved in evaluating all the Finnish PES reforms and is currently evaluating the latest reform, the national pilot projects of moving employment services to the municipalities, and consulting and studying the employment issues at the local municipal and regional level. 

Spangar Negotiations has also been active in training the career counseling specialists and the other counseling staff in the Finnish employment administration and during the last ten years, recently in Poland. 

Varna Economic Development Agency (VEDA), Bulgaria

Varna Economic Development Agency (VEDA) is a non-profit, non-governmental association registered to operate for public benefit. It is located on the territory of the Varna district in Bulgaria, Eastern Europe. VEDA is a member of the Regional Council for the Development of the North-Eastern Planning Region of Bulgaria.

The agency was established in 1997 under the Varna Municipality and USAID joint program to support the advancement of regional economic development.

VEDA aims towards leadership in establishing conditions for the sustainable economic development of Varna and the region. Main agency activities are associated with projects implemented under the EU funding programs and referred to the provision of:

VEDA activities focus on various target groups like SMEs, start-ups and entrepreneurs, young people, people with disadvantages, women, the disabled, the aging population, NGO representatives, local and government officials, and others.
