The main activities of VLO in Katowice include:

• Eures network providing services in the area of EU-wide job placement and information on conditions of living and working in EU and EFTA member state.

• Job counseling, methodology, and entrepreneurship.

• Obtaining funds and pursuing projects under European Union programs.

• Development of a regional plan of action for employment (The planning document that is prepared in cooperation with institutions and partners of the labor market).

• Division of the Labour Fund money. Each year Silesian Voivodeship receives, based on the decision of the Ministry of Family, Labour, and Social Policy, funds dedicated to 31 local authorities for programs concerning employment promotion, job activation.

• Implementation of  European Funds for Silesia 2021-2027.

• Research and analysis of the labor market.

JDU comprises six faculties. There are nearly 500 academic teachers employed, including 165 independent research and teaching staff and 50 titular professors. JDU features about 50 major studies – bachelor's and master's degree courses (including engineering), about 40 postgraduate studies, and numerous courses and trainings. Education at the Doctoral School is delivered in the following disciplines: chemistry, physics, history, linguistics, literary studies, fine arts and art conservation, and musical arts.

JDU is a place open for education. It includes the actions of the University of the Third Age, the Centre for Courses and Training, the Center for Postgraduate Studies, the Teacher Training Center, the Center for Masters of Didactics, Open University Lectures, the University Library, and an Examination Centre. JDU's "Mission" features different forms of practical adult education, creating increasingly rich teaching and learning offers, including the Lifelong and Life-wide Learning approach.

CPU is also a valid partner in preparation for examinations, assessment of knowledge and qualifications for national vocational qualifications, essential qualifications, other public authorizations, and chambers’ qualifications. CPU provides public post-secondary non-university education programs (information science engineering, civil engineer, economist, and business administrator).

CPU is a creative partner in various EU projects. Our projects mainly focus on different branches of education, training, and competence development. Project work aims to facilitate our process and personal growth and increase the quality of our services.

INfaBW is internationally orientated, based on combining these tasks in a synergetic way. Based on clients' requirements, INfaBW designs successful solutions together.

The Institute was founded in July 2021 and is managed by four partners with extensive experience in international project work - especially in career guidance counseling, career development for young people and adults, placement counseling, and public management.

INfaBW Institute stands for the following competences:

• Extensive and comprehensive professional knowledge in teaching, research, and lectures.

• Scientific and methodological competences.

• International expertise in developing, implementing, and evaluating blended learning programs.

• Dissemination activities of project results (publications, conferences, marketing).

• Project management competences in an international context.

The company’s activities in this field are based on Spangar’s and his colleague Anita Keskinen’s research, especially on their active co-production of concepts and methods in collaboration with Vance Peavy between 1991 – 2002.  

The other fields where the company has been active include studies and evaluations on labor market policies and services in Finland, Scandinavia, and the major EU countries. For example, the company has been involved in evaluating all the Finnish PES reforms and is currently evaluating the latest reform, the national pilot projects of moving employment services to the municipalities, and consulting and studying the employment issues at the local municipal and regional level. 

Spangar Negotiations has also been active in training the career counseling specialists and the other counseling staff in the Finnish employment administration and during the last ten years, recently in Poland. 

The agency was established in 1997 under the Varna Municipality and USAID joint program to support the advancement of regional economic development.

VEDA aims towards leadership in establishing conditions for the sustainable economic development of Varna and the region. Main agency activities are associated with projects implemented under the EU funding programs and referred to the provision of:

• Information support and consulting services.

• Training and mentoring programs.

• Organization of workshops and conferences.

• Development and testing of pilot activities.

• Research and analysis.

VEDA activities focus on various target groups like SMEs, start-ups and entrepreneurs, young people, people with disadvantages, women, the disabled, the aging population, NGO representatives, local and government officials, and others.
